The characteristics of current
generation in regard to leadership and communication
The new generation leaders
prefer working in teams as well as being open to the employees. They support
collaboration whereby they do not expect their orders to be followed by the
employees even when the orders deem wrong, instead they work towards
understanding what is really required on the ground through team work.
Secondly, they spend quality time in constructing team relations as compared to
their forerunners. They are depicted to value family thus give the employees
enough time to deal with their personal lives.
Thirdly, the new generation prefers action whereby they work in
efficiency and more productivity so as to get more free time. They are
conscious of the goals that need to be achieved thus they expect their team to
work hard and smart. They are also aware of the time which they should leave
the office and go out to have fun. To attain efficiency, they use technology
which makes work easier
