Christianity Life
Christianity
has its beliefs on the Being as influenced in one of the most memorable
manners; the opinion of human species that is Jesus Christ. The Christian
family connects the name of Jesus to the devotional feelings of millions of
years of man’s existence. The institutions that constitute the most civilized
portions of the human world derive their existence and authority from the
teachings of Jesus. They regard the Christ as the hero and God. The
extraordinary genius attached to Him and the wide effect of his doctrines
command respect among followers of the world’s popular religion. Additionally,
the love borne to the Christ through his adherents is characteristic of
suggesting that he is divine. The historians of the religion assert Jesus’
supernatural events as connected with his role in establishing the beliefs for
his followers.
The
death of Jesus Christ, according to his followers, accompanies an accumulation
of prodigies. For example, darkness fell upon the earth after his death, dead
bodies rose from the grave during his time, and the performance of several
miracles through extraordinary powers took place. Such beliefs and activities
reinforced by the Crist attribute the death of a reformer for the human race as
held by the Christian faithful. According to Penney (45), the central values
and beliefs of Christians arise from the teachings of the Christ.
With
the Bible, the Christians continue to teach and preach the word of God, who
directed the authorship of the book through the Holy Spirit. As such, the
Bible, according to its believers, is the way in which God provides guidelines
for humanity and the way to live. From the bible, the concepts of God, Christ,
and the Holy Spirit define most of the religion’s beliefs.
The three major beliefs
...God is the all-knowing creator
1. In
Christianity, followers define God in His personal being and personality as the
creator. This concept forms one of the most fundamental beliefs of Christians.
In the Bible pages, the existence of God is unquestionable to its followers. As
the source of all life, Christians have the obligation to serve and obey God.
Additionally, God himself does not want His followers to worship Him through
idols.
2. According to
the Bible pages, especially the book of Jo and Psalms, God knows everything.
God is present at all times in every corner of the world. According to its
believers, Christianity maintains that since God knows all, He is also the same
throughout and cannot change. Another significant belief is that God is
eternal.
...The Concept of Jesus Christ is Significant
1. The followers
of Jesus Christ hold a strong belief that the Christ was responsible for
defining the entire idea of Christianity. Without Him it is difficult to
believe that the religion could be in its present shape. Although the Bible
describes him as being a son of God, he also had his human parents. Jesus
Christ, according to the religion, was God’s messenger sent to save the earth.
The bible teaches Christian followers that the Christ had a physical body and
equally physical needs.
2. In the role
of being the savior to humankind, Christians believe that the son of God died
as a fulfillment of God’s wish to replace his death to sins of humanity. Jesus
also had to rise from his death and go back to heaven as a means of reinforcing
the religion’s belief of life after death. The idea of Jesus’ death also brings
forth the idea of God’s love for humans.
...The Belief of the Holy Spirit
1. Although the
Holy Spirit is just a ‘spirit,’ Christians believe that it has a personality in
the same way God the father does. In most cases, believers of the Bible
maintain that Holly Spirit is part of God since the later uses the former to
provide guidelines to Christians. In this case, the Holy Spirit provides
spiritual support to Christians.
2. Furthermore,
the Holly Spirit is characteristic of dwelling in believers as explained in 1
Corinthians 5:6. Through the spirit, Christians believe they are born again and
remain holy to the day of redemption..
In
Conclusion, Just like any other religion, Christianity has a number of key
factors that bind them unto God. Jesus Christ defined the religion and its core
values and beliefs through his death and resurrection. From the above
presentation, it is evident that Christianity has a strong belief in the
concepts of God the gather, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. These concepts
form the three trinities of God according to the religion.
